Launch of SoundHound Chat AI in European Markets
Now available in 11 European markets, including Germany, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, and Spain, the ChatGPT-integrated voice assistant SoundHound Chat AI is found in cars built by Opel, Peugeot, and Vauxhall. By the end of July, this deployment will be expanded to 12 languages and 17 markets.
According to a March 2024 release from SoundHound AI, DS Automobiles, a Stellantis company, became the first automotive manufacturer in the world to completely include a voice assistant using the most recent generative AI technology through the SoundHound Chat AI platform.
This assistant was made available in 18 countries and 13 languages. Stellantis is increasing its coverage to include additional cars made by Peugeot, Opel, and Vauxhall.
